Bispectral analysis is an effective signal processing tool for investigating interactions between oscillations, and has been adapted to the continuous wavelet transform time-evolving of open systems. However, one unaddressed question bispectrum quantification bispectral content area scale-scale space. Without this, interpretation computations merely qualitative. We now overcome this limitation by providing suitable normalisations formula that enable it be treated as a density integrated. These are roughly analogous normalisation second-order spectral densities. prove our definition matches traditional sums sinusoids, in limit frequency resolution tends infinity. illustrate improved quantitative power with numerical experimental data. also discuss notions bicoherence its practical implementation.
